Privacy Policy

This policy describes what personal data is processed when you visit madyel.com, on what legal basis, and what rights you have. The German-language version is the authoritative one.

1. Controller

The controller for data processing on this website is Madyel Industrie (Sole proprietorship (Einzelunternehmen)), owner Batuhan Demir, Schüslerweg 2, 21075 Hamburg, Germany.

Email: info@madyel.com · Phone: +49 177 2498363

2. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted with a provider in Germany. When you open a page, the server automatically collects information transmitted by your browser and stores it in log files.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the technically error-free operation and security of the website. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the hosting provider.

  • IP address of the requesting device
  • Date and time of access
  • Page or file requested
  • Volume of data transferred and status code
  • Referrer URL
  • Browser type, version and operating system

3. Contact and quote forms

When you write to us via the contact form or the quote form, we process the details you enter in order to handle your enquiry. In addition to your entries, your IP address and the time of submission are transmitted; these are used solely to prevent abuse.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to entering into a contract, and otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to enquiries).

To protect against automated submissions we use a form field that is invisible to you and a limit on submission frequency per IP address. For this, a counter associated with your IP address is stored for a maximum of ten minutes.

We retain your enquiry and the related correspondence until the matter is concluded and no statutory retention obligations apply.

4. Cookies and consent

This website sets no analytics or advertising cookies before you have consented. Your decision itself is stored locally in your browser (local storage, key "madyel.consent.analytics") so that the prompt does not reappear on every page. That storage never leaves your device.

The legal basis for analytics and advertising technologies is your consent under Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR in conjunction with § 25 (1) TDDDG. You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future.

5. Google Analytics and Google Ads

If you have consented, we use Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads conversion tracking provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Without your consent the relevant script is not loaded and no connection to Google takes place.

Where consent is given, usage data such as pages viewed, time on page, approximate location and device information is processed. The IP address is truncated. Transfer to the United States cannot be excluded; Google relies on standard contractual clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

You can withdraw your consent using the button at the end of this page.

6. Fonts

The fonts used are downloaded when the site is built and served from our own server. No connection to Google Fonts or any other external font service is made when you open a page, and no IP address is transmitted to such a service.

7. SSL/TLS encryption

For security reasons this website uses SSL/TLS encryption for the transmission of confidential content such as your form enquiries. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the "https://" in the address bar and the padlock icon in your browser.

8. External links

This website links to madyelindustrie.com and possibly other external sites. When you follow such a link you leave this website; the respective provider is responsible for data processing there.

9. Recipients and processors

Your data is passed on only where necessary to handle your enquiry or where required by law. The hosting and email provider are involved, and — only where consent has been given — Google as the provider of the analytics and advertising services. Agreements under Art. 28 GDPR are in place with processors.

10. Retention

We store personal data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, or for as long as statutory retention periods — for example under commercial or tax law — require.

11. Your rights

You have the following rights under the GDPR. An informal message to info@madyel.com is sufficient to exercise them.

  • Access to the data processed about you (Art. 15 GDPR)
  • Rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
  • Erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
  • Restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
  • Data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
  • Objection to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR)
  • Withdrawal of consent with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3) GDPR)

12. Right to lodge a complaint

If you believe that the processing of your data infringes data protection law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority competent for us is the Hamburg Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.

13. Changes to this policy

We will update this policy when the processing on this website changes — for example when a client portal or an interface goes live. The version published here applies.
